A nomadic approach to genre and a passion for challenges allow Chef/Owner Shawn Doyle to flaunt flavors and techniques from a myriad of regions and cuisines, wedding them in harmonious compositions of taste, texture, color and flow on the plate.
Purposeful play in the kitchen proposes an evening of fun for guests as well. Memorable dishes like the Pomegranate Duck – local duck confit leg that’s cooked to tender perfection with murmurs of orange, juniper, garlic, thyme, and onion before being roasted to a crispy bliss – and Shawn’s Curry – a Somalian-inspired medley of three lentils simmered with curried housemade sausage – are an invitation to slip away to a deliciously unpretentious handcrafted haven.
