At Savory Grille, the menu changes almost daily. Really, the only thing you can always find is the legendary Créme Brûlée, along with the freshly baked baguettes. Otherwise, it’s a seasonally inspired culinary adventure led by chef and owner Shawn Doyle, with ingredients, concepts, and techniques from South Africa to Asia to Italy. Frequently, the evening’s offerings will depend on what produce he was able to source from nearby local farms that very same day!
Even though the menu is ever-changing, you can always expect an inspired collection of proteins with adventurous accoutrements—like this artful appetizer featuring foie gras and pork belly, compressed peach, grilled brioche, and an aged sherry gastrique. As with every dish, it’s something you’ve never tasted before and will likely never taste again. But that’s fine, since Chef Doyle is constantly one-upping himself.
