An unmistakable air of authenticity and perseverance is stitched into every inch of this historic building that once housed Easton’s firehouse. The authenticity needs no explanation, but perseverance? Sette Luna was one of the original players in Easton’s dining scene when it opened its doors 12 years ago with bold ideas and bolder flavors. An all-Italian wine list? Unheard of. Eggs on pizza? Not in this town. Still, Sette Luna was onto something, and now the rest of the Lehigh Valley knows it too: the food here is simply spectacular. A core menu stays true to the classic fare that set the bar for the area’s wood-fired pizzas and handmade pastas, while seasonal specials push the envelope with peak season ingredients.
Insider Tip: The downstairs wine cellar holds an extensive collection of aged Italian wines—and a custom-built farm table that seats 12 for private parties. The table was too big to be built outside of the room and carried down, so it was crafted by hand in the cellar.
Did You Know? The first item of business on the dessert menu is Mama’s Cheesecake, which owner Josh Palmer grew up eating as his birthday cake. The sour cherry topping, made with the fruit from his backyard Hungarian sour cherry trees, is reinterpreted on the cake today with local cherries from Scholl’s Orchard.
