THE DISH

You’d be hard-pressed to find a dish at Glasbern Inn that doesn’t feature local ingredients—and this one’s no exception. This mouthwatering center cut filet hails from Hershey’s Farm in Lancaster. It’s served up with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, a seasonal veg, crispy onions, and bleu cheese from Oley-based Valley Milkhouse. If you’re not too full, consider following it up with the Flourless Chocolate Cake served with Kreider Farms ice cream.

Glasbern raises nine to 12 free-range pigs at a time, so if you’re lucky enough to swing by and see pork on the menu, do yourself a favor and snag a plate before it’s sold out.

WHAT’S NEW

Just this spring, Glasbern Inn opened its new wedding venue and events space called Glasloft, which features a large fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, a mezzanine level, a deck with stunning natural views, and a dance floor. You’ll feel like you’re outdoors, without having to worry about weather ruining your big day.
