An upper level – which includes the Mischief Room where frequent dinner shows are hosted – boasts a distinctively atmospheric party venue featuring an indoor-outdoor bar and deck. The upper and lower lofts provide flexible accommodations for special events such as business lunches, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and holiday parties. A generous catering menu offers appetizer trays and themed buffet menus, from clambakes to roadhouse barbecue. 

In Our History

Crossing the threshold at The Buckeye Tavern adds an addendum to a history of hospitality that’s been playing out since 1768. From rough-hewn fieldstone walls to nostalgic signs, the rustic ambiance of this local landmark provides a warm setting for relaxed dining.

On the Table

There’s good reason for the slogan, “It’s where you go!” An all-day menu offers a wide spectrum of tastes, from tempting appetizers and wraps to satisfying salads and entrees, and regular weekday events draw fans to Uncle Buck’s BBQ, Mexican and Wing nights. Owner Terry Bender credits Chef Neil Leidheiser’s culinary creativity for keeping palates piqued with daily features. “Some people come in and just want to see the specials menu,” Bender reports. Choices range from Creole-inspired dishes and hands-on fare like pulled pork and cream cheese egg rolls to luscious desserts.
