Change is the one thing thats our constant.

Contemporary cooking techniques make a classic pub steak dinner even better. The sous vide method of preparation allows hanger steak, a less familiar cut, to cook evenly throughout while remaining juicy, flavorful, and tender. A spreadable quenelle of house-made duck liver foie gras pâté adds indulgence, while a super-rich bone marrow demi-glace—simmered for 72 hours—dares you to lick the plate. Also find playful variations of pub fare standards that include fish, burgers, sandwiches, and “lots of bits and bobs to pick at.”

FANCY FRIES

Boardwalk fingerlings—roasted and pan-fried, deglazed with malt vinegar and finished with crunchy salt—are rock star spuds.

FORK IT OVER

Traditional Louisiana shrimp-and-grits gets a globe-trotting makeover with creamy Italian polenta and boldly seasoned French-Asian style crustaceans.
Okra and kale round out this tastefully re-envisioned dish that’s “brighter and more lemon grassy” than the earthy original.

ATMOSPHERE

Can décor echo cuisine? Definitely. The correlation between streamlined 1950s architecture—given a vibrantly modern decorative spin—and nostalgic dishes, deconstructed and reassembled with contemporary flair and multi-cultural influences, is witty and striking. As a “top-down” restaurant that coordinates flavor profiles of food and drink, the esoteric wine list, expansive beer selection, and cocktail selection evolve to harmonize with current menu tastes.

WHAT’S THE 411?

A well-established West End destination—located in “the Brooklyn of Bethlehem”—The Mint Gastropub draws a crowd of devotees hungry to try the next cleverly reimagined (and skillfully executed) plate of comfort food that’s best washed down with a spirited beverage. Make reservations for the ultra-popular monthly Sunday brunches, themed events with one-of-a-kind menus inspired by such cultural icons as Dr. Seuss and The Office.

Dual happy hours maximize options: Stop by Wednesday and Friday 4:30–6:30 pm, or 9–11 pm Tuesday through Saturday for “reverse” happy hour drink specials.
