Thai Delight

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 T sesame oil
  • 4 oz. slice chicken breast
  • 2 oz. sliced flank steak
  • 2 oz. shrimp (U21-25), cleaned
  • 1/4 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 oz. fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 oz. fresh snow peas
  • 1/2 oz. button mushroom, cut in halves or quarters
  • 1 T cornstarch
  • Jasmine rice, cooked

Thai Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 4 T sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp. shacha sauce (available in Asian markets)
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • Sriracha sauce to taste

DIRECTIONS

Whisk sauce ingredients together and set aside. Heat sesame oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add meat and vegetables and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring to ensure even cooking. Add sauce to pan and bring to a boil. Stir in cornstarch and reduce to low heat, cooking briefly until sauce thickens. Serve with jasmine rice.
