Brown Butter Almond Sauce

  • 1 T salted butter
  • Splash of white wine 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • Fresh chopped parsley, to taste 
  • 1 T sliced almonds
  • 3 oz. heavy cream


Preheat a small sauté pan over medium-high heat. When butter is melted, add wine, followed by salt, pepper, and parsley. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring, then add almonds. Let almonds cook for another minute. Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and drizzle over dish being served. The restaurant presents grilled shrimp topped with this sauce.
