If it’s my first time, what should I order? Handmade specialties like the House Crafted Lobster Ravioli, served with champagne sauce, and Hand Crafted Truffle Gnocchi, made with local mushrooms—or try the best-selling Duck Wings or Beef Carpaccio.
What’s there that I can’t get anywhere else? While there’s plenty to gaze at from the floor-to-ceiling windows that surround the third-story restaurant overlooking the town square, there’s also an open kitchen for the most epicurean eaters to enjoy a show. In fact, there are three “chef’s tables” attached to the kitchen line, so you can literally sit three feet away from the sauté and the sizzle.
What are we drinking? The Dime makes as much of its menu in-house as possible, right down to its very own ginger beer, which sits on tap at the bar and finds its way into the “Mule of the Day.” The variations range from basil- to blackberry-infused, with the season’s highlight being the Wise Mule (which has a sage infusion, of course).
What’s The Dime’s best-kept secret? The bar is a lively cultural and entertainment hub. It offers interactive monthly classes covering topics from infusions to bitters, and a stage that plays weekend host to local musicians.
