INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large egg, raw
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 slices thick-cut brioche bread
  • 1 T butter
  • 2 slices ham
  • 2 slices turkey
  • 1 slice Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg, cooked sunny side up
  • Raspberry chipotle jam for drizzle

DIRECTIONS

Whisk together raw egg, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Dip bread in egg mixture, coating all sides. In a non-stick pan or griddle, melt half the butter and cook the bread until bottoms are golden brown. Flip and cook other sides. While bread is cooking, sauté the ham and turkey in a separate pan. Stack the meat, then top with Swiss cheese. Push to one side and fry egg. When the cheese is melted, the bread golden and the white of egg set, assemble the sandwich. Drizzle with warm raspberry chipotle jam.
