Margherita Pizza

INGREDIENTS
- 10 oz. ball of pizza dough, stretched
- 1 T garlic-infused olive oil (homemade or commercial)
- 1 medium vine ripened tomato, sliced thin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella and provolone cheese blend
- 2 T julienned basil leaves
- Drizzle of olive oil
- 1–2 T grated Parmesan
DIRECTIONS
Place dough on prepared baking pan or pizza stone, brush lightly with garlic olive oil, and arrange a single layer of tomato slices on top. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over pizza. Bake in an oven preheated to 450°F for 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are brown, the bottom is cooked through, and the cheese is melted. Remove from oven and scatter basil leaves over pizza. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Cut into wedges and enjoy.
(Yields 1 personal-size pizza.)
