- 1 lb. ball of pizza dough*
- Blended oil, for frying
- Powdered sugar
- Chocolate syrup (optional)
Using a rolling pin, spread dough into a 14-inch circle (like you’re making a pizza). Start at an edge and roll the dough into log. Cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Heat oil in deep fryer to 375°F. Drop individual pieces of rolled dough into hot oil and fry until dark golden brown. (Work in batches as needed.) Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon to taste. Drizzle with chocolate syrup, if desired.
