Blackberry Smash

  • 3 oz. fruit puree
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. Dubonnet
  • 1 oz. bianco vermouth (white sweet)
  • 1 1/2–2 oz. kombucha
  • 2 bruised sage leaves

Fruit puree (simmer together, puree and chill):

  • 1 pint blackberries
  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 bottle sour beer
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust up or down to taste)


Pour fruit puree, vodka, Dubonnet, and bianco vermouth into mixing cup with ice, cover and shake. Strain between 2 glasses with fresh ice, then pouring half of the kombucha into each glass. Slap the sage leaves between your hands to release the oils and place a leaf on top of the two drinks.
