What’s new this summer? Maine’s lobster season
is in full swing, with enormous 1.8 to 2 lb. lobsters making the Tidal Wave, a four-course seafood dinner for two, an especially sweet maritime delight.
If it’s my first time, what should I order? For a plate that offers a full net of the sea, try the Seafood Fra Diablo—sautéed shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, and calamari in a red sauce with linguini—which can be prepared as mild or spicy as you’d like.
What’s the owner’s favorite? Owner Christian Filipos is all about the Seafood Towers. Tower #2, his favorite, is a deliciously dizzying stack of oysters, clams, jumbo shrimp, poached Maine mussels, poached sea scallops, jumbo lump crab meat, tuna tartare, and house made ceviche—and can be upgraded with a 1/2 lb. of lobster or Alaskan king crab legs.
What do regulars eat? Diners return week after week and year after year for the succulent Jumbo Lump Crabmeat, handpicked daily and served with brown butter.

The Lehigh Valley’s proximity to the coast paired with Filipos’ commitment to freshness mean that the restaurant’s cooler is emptied every night and refilled the next morning with daily—yes, 7 days a week—deliveries from Mid-Atlantic, New England, and Canadian coastline catches.
