Hook Seafood & Grille

THE CONCEPT

Hook, the latest restaurant to make a splash in the Downtown Allentown dining scene, has a familiar façade. Bill and Phyllis Grube, founding owners of Cosmopolitan, have reimagined the handsome restaurant as a premier seafood grill. A refreshed, coastal-inspired decor reflects a relaxed personality, and the menu is approachable and family-friendly. The ballroom still remains a top locale for special events.

THE CHEF

Executive Chef Glaister “Mark” Knight brings a lifetime of coastline experiences – from his native Jamaica to Rhode Island and Maryland – to a menu infused with flavors that sail from the Caribbean to New England. Wild-caught sustainable fin fish stars, though shellfish like shrimp, crab, clams and mussels are presented in a variety of dishes with broad-based appeal. Organic vegetables and garden-grown herbs deliver another dimension of tempting tastes.
