Fresh Garlic Herb Aioli

INGREDIENTS
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 1 cup fresh mixed herbs (such as parsley, cilantro, and dill)
- 1 1/3 cup light olive oil
DIRECTIONS
Quickly combine eggs yolks, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a food processor or blender. Drizzle in olive oil until mixture emulsifies, then add lemon juice and zest, minced garlic, and fresh herbs, processing briefly until evenly incorporated. Store in the fridge and use to brighten sandwiches, seafood, or whatever your appetite suggests.
Note: Mitzi’s Table serves this on their TBLT (roasted turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich on Texas toast) and as a side with other dishes.
