  • “No one needs to go out to eat,” explains Executive Chef Joseph Bruno on the necessity of dining out. “People go out to eat to escape from the day, to have an experience. That’s what we offer—an experience, a memory, something that they’re going to hold onto long after the meal is gone.”
  • Grain is a restaurant, but also the collective effort of food industry enthusiasts who have spent the better part of a decade working together in various settings. They’ve finally joined forces to give guests the very best. Every dish and cocktail is honed to perfection—to the tune of 10-15 taste tests and trial runs—before they make it on the menu.
  • First things first: what is Cobia? It’s a fish best described as a cross between swordfish and bass that can be eaten raw or cooked. In this instance, it’s cooked and served with forbidden rice simmered in coconut milk, carrot cardamom puree, and fruity figs.
  • The Pan-Seared Scallops dish is a deliciously ritzy play on the flavor profile of a BLT. Expect an arugula and tomato salad dressed in brown butter aioli, dollops of avocado espuma (foam made in a whipped cream canister), and scallops sitting in a swirl of apple bacon jam.
  • Here are some details on the Candied Pork Belly: it’s marinated for three days, braised for three hours, then deep fried and candied in rum and brown sugar. It’s equal parts savory, sweet, and decadent, but let’s be real—they had us at pork belly.
