In Our History
Pearly Baker’s wears her age with pride. The stately building that has graced Center Square since 1869 retains architectural features that speak of diverse past lives. An original skylight and pressed tin ceiling in the taproom and a spectacular crystal chandelier in the dining room create distinctive environments for dining and socializing. The restaurant has added its own singular page of history over the past 20-plus years through a notable commitment to the environment and the community. Their annual chili cook-off, a charitable fundraiser, is a Super Bowl Sunday tradition in Easton.
At the Bar
Regional craft brews dispensed at 25 rotating taps share the spotlight with classic and seasonal cocktails inspired by Grateful Dead lyrics. Live music – with no cover charge – makes this an entertainment destination three nights a week.
In the Kitchen
Chef Jon Glueck’s culinary repertoire covers a lot of gastronomic ground at this something-for-everyone restaurant, where the menu changes seasonally and the clientele runs the gamut from well-heeled theater-goers to casual diners seeking a great burger. Local purveyors supply fresh meats and produce, and Glueck reports that he “loves the challenge of vegan and vegetarian cooking.” A predilection for bold spices infuses widely varied dishes with intriguing flavors.
