Barrel Aged Manhattan

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz. Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey
  • Dash Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
  • 1/4 oz. Dolin Sweet Vermouth
  • 1/4 oz. Cointreau
  • 3 drops Fee Brothers Old Fashioned Aromatic Bitters
  • Dash Broittet Creme de Griotte
  • Dash dry Curacao

DIRECTIONS

In a mixing glass, stir ingredients over ice and strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a flamed orange twist. (At Maxim’s 22, large batches of this cocktail are aged for one month in used Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye whiskey barrels.)
