Sugaree Cocktail

INGREDIENTS

• 2 oz. spiced vodka (see below)
• 1 tsp. brown sugar
• 1 tsp. fresh cranberries + more for garnish
• 1 oz. simple syrup
• Club soda

Spiced vodka:

• 1 liter vodka
• 5 cardamom pods
• 5 pieces star anise
• 3 cloves

DIRECTIONS

Muddle cranberries with brown sugar and simple syrup. Add vodka and shake with ice. Strain over fresh ice and top with club soda. Add several cranberries for garnish.

For spiced vodka:
Steep all ingredients in a double boiler for 10 minutes then chill before serving.
