Blackberry Gimlet

INGREDIENTS

• 4-6 fresh blackberries (reserve 1 for garnish)
• 2 tsp. simple syrup
• 2 tsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
• 2 oz. Veev Spirit* (or a favorite berry-flavored vodka)
• Lime peel twist for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Drop 3 to 5 blackberries in a shaker. Pour in simple syrup and lime juice and muddle. Add ice, then Veev (or vodka). Cover, shake vigorously, and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a whole blackberry and a twist of lime peel. Enjoy immediately.
