THE DISH

Casa Toro’s owners have family ties to Cuba, which means that in addition to chipotle and chili, you’ll experience flavors of garlic, sour oranges, lemons, limes, and oregano in their Cuban-inspired entreés like the Lechon Asado, a mojo-marinated pork dish. To wash it all down, keep with the Cuban trend and choose from a variety of mojitos—we suggest the Honey Ginger.

One of the most popular entreés is the Coco Coronoa Shrimp—and it’s easy to understand why: Six jumbo shrimp are butterflied, double dipped in Corona beer and coconut batter, and then fried and served with your choice of a sweet mango or spicy chipotle sauce.
