Casually refined dining and a stellar lineup of local craft beer, wine, and whiskey.

THE DISH

Featuring roasted red peppers, parmesan, peas, and fresh, perfectly seared sea scallops, each creamy bite of the Scallop Risotto is a flavorful delight. Since it’s infused with seasonal flavors, and not as heavy as your average risotto, it’s one of our favorite summer entreés—and it tastes even better while sitting on The Cask’s pet-friendly patio. Wash it down with the Barrel Sidecar cocktail, a vibrant blend of whiskey, grand mariner, fresh squeezed orange and lemon juice, and angostura bitters.

WHAT’S NEW

While you can still get any number of gourmet burgers made with pasture-raised Pat LaFrieda beef, you can now indulge in seasonal delights like the Grilled Peach BBQ Pulled Pork, served with creamy cabbage slaw on a rustic roll. There’s no shortage of lighter options either —one of our favorites is the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps appetizer, featuring perfectly seasoned Thai chicken, shredded carrots, and wonton crisps, all served in
Boston bibb lettuce leaves.

FUN FACT

There are 27 beers on tap—24 of which rotate, ensuring an ever-changing selection of mostly regional brews. Can’t decide? We recommend a beer flight. You can also create a flight from the more than 60 varieties of whiskey and bourbon in stock, or have a glass of on-tap wine from Easton Wine Project.

INSIDER TIP

The Cask’s ample seating, exposed brick walls, and rustic barrels mean that it’s big enough—and trendy enough—to hold your next event, whether that’s a bridal shower, wedding reception, college reunion, or retirement party. They accomodate both large and semi-private events.
