Between the seafood aromas drifting out of the open kitchen and the sun-soaked dining room, the industrial-chic restaurant could very well be a renowned wharf eatery. Luckily for us, 3rd & Ferry is bringing the shore—and its marvelous Market Fries tossed in crab aioli—to the Lehigh Valley.

Anything to look for this summer? A $5 Mimosa menu on Sundays featuring variations like Honey Bear—blueberry-infused local raw honey syrup. The Clam Jam Festival in August hosts a clambake, chowder cook-off, beer tasting, and culinary demonstrations.

What’s there that I can’t get anywhere else? A constantly rotating selection of eight different fresh oysters from Virginia Bay to Prince Edward Island means that there’s always something new awaiting shellfish lovers. You’ll also find the mother of all Bloody Marys, the Crabby Mary—this cocktail flaunts a crab cake slider, shrimp cocktail, and colossal lump crabmeat as garnish.

What’s the secret to a perfect lobster roll? Perhaps the first key is size—the Lobster Roll here stuffs an entire half lobster into the sandwich. Another thing to consider is the roll itself—3rd & Ferry serves its sandwich on a croissant for a super soft, buttery treat.

What’s 3rd & Ferry’s best-kept secret? A social and adventurous mixology scene, with a constantly rotating array of house-infused spirits ranging from smoked chipotle and chorizo vodka to coffee bean rum. Insiders opt for what they call “the program,” a special that offers a can of craft beer and a delectable house-infused shot for $8.
