There’s no vacancy of good food, good beer, and good hospitality at this eclectic eatery that has been a buzzing community hub in the Dale family since 1959. Beer aficionados will cheer to the distinctive rotating selection of 18 beers on tap – not to mention 400 bottles – that celebrate hard-to-find ales and independent breweries. Splashes of their love for beer appear on the menu in forms such as Short Ribs that are braised for 5 1/2 hours in pale ale, while small plates like Ostrich Quesadillas put a contemporary spin on expected appetizers. 

The unexpected continues with their entrees and twists on veteran plates like Chicken Carbonara: instead of including eggs in the signature sauce, it’s served to show off its star ingredient. Diners are invited to finish the dish themselves by mixing in the egg yolk at the table, and then twirl ribbons of housemade pappardelle in their creamy creation.
